But he said all students should be off-limits, unless the relationship started before the person enrolled at ASU.
ASU President Michael Crow told The State Press editorial board in December 2013 that ASU takes allegations against professors in relationships with students seriously."So there have been professors in relationships with students and when we find out about it, they are all fired," Crow was quoted as saying.
If the relationship goes bad, things can quickly sour.
The student's reputation can be damaged if word gets out to other faculty.
Pratt and his attorney, Melissa Iyer Julian, declined to comment.
ASU gave Pratt a written admonishment in 2012 after the allegations by Kunzi, records show.
